I led the character design for the animated campaign promoting the New Balance 475 x Aimé Leon Dore collaboration. My role involved crafting the visual identity of the hero character. Striking a balance between ALD's refined aesthetic and the playful tone of the animation.

To ensure a smooth handoff and consistent brand expression, I built a modular, layered character system that allowed both the ALD and New Balance teams to re-style the character for different scenes. This included accessible assets, clear notes for the animation team, and a flexible visual framework that supported everything from wardrobe variations to casting multiple character iterations.
