Aime Leon Dore Playing Cards

Aimé Leon Dore wanted to create their first fully illustrated playing card deck positioned as a collectible object that felt native to their brand world. The challenge was to translate the fashion label’s visual DNA into a cohesive illustrated system that could live across 54 small-format surfaces while still feeling culturally aligned.

Beyond the card faces, I designed the reverse graphic, which extended onto the packaging, creating a consistent visual language. The result was a deck positioned as a collectable design artefact that tied into Aimé Leon Dore’s wider brand universe. This was then marketed by Aimé Leon Dore’s in-house creative team through a dedicated promotional film and campaign imagery.
